Name of the Police Certificate: Certificate of Good Conduct
If you live in Uganda
You should apply in person to the Directorate of Interpol & International Relations Uganda Police. You must allow your fingerprints to be taken and you must bring:
A copy of your identity document.
Two recent passport-size photographs (in colour).
A letter of introduction explaining why the police certificate is being requested.
Applicable fees.
If you live outside of Uganda
You should apply at your nearest High Commission of Uganda or through a representative, relative or friend. You need to provide certified original fingerprints, taken at a police station in your current place of residence. You must also bring:
A certified copy of your identity document.
Two recent passport-size photographs (in colour).
A letter of introduction explaining why the police certificate is being requested.
Applicable fees.
Note: If you are not a citizen of Uganda, you would also need to send certified original fingerprints taken at a police station in your current place of residence.
If you are in GTA area of Canada, you can get fingerprints taken by Worldwide Forensic Services Inc. (www.fingerscan.ca)
