Name of the Police Certificate: Certificate of Criminal Record
How to Apply
If you have no criminal record in Denmark, the certificate will be issued in English, German, French, and Spanish.
If you do have previous convictions or entries, the certificate of a criminal record will be issued in Danish. You are responsible for having it translated to English or French.
To issue the certificate, Danish authorities need
- Written and signed consent.
- A photocopy of your valid passport.
- A postal address to send the certificate to.
Email all documents to mvjyl-pac-kr@politi.dk.
The issuance of a certificate of a criminal record is free of charge.
If you have a NemID, you can request a certificate of criminal record online (note that the form is in Danish).
