The fingerprints are transmitted to the RCMP, the same day we receive the original fingerprint form. A Certified Criminal Record Check is directly sent by the RCMP to the applicant or a third party (as per request), via Canada Post regular mail.
To speed up the process, we can also receive the police check from the RCMP and send it to the applicant or a third party via courier (at an additional courier cost). This is the quickest way to get a police clearance certificate from Canada.

Canadian police clearance (also known as Canadian Criminal Background Check, Certified Criminal Record Check, RCMP Police Clearance, Canadian PCC, etc.) is issued by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) after verifying the fingerprints of an individual with their database. The only way to submit fingerprints to the RCMP is through an RCMP-accredited fingerprinting agency in Canada.
If you are in Canada, you can simply go to a fingerprinting agency, get fingerprints taken with a live scan machine, and transmit them to the RCMP. If you are outside of Canada, get fingerprints taken with ink or a live scan machine and send the fingerprint form to our office. We will take care of the remaining process.
Worldwide Forensic Services Inc. is accredited and certified by the RCMP Canada to submit electronic fingerprints to the CCRTIS in support of Criminal Record Checks. We have helped over 35000 local and international clients to get Canadian police clearance certificates. We accept ink & roll and live-scan fingerprints (printed on paper).
The second type of police clearance certificate is a Name and Date of Birth-based check issued by the local police. Normally basic name and date of birth-based checks are used for local employment and other purposes not requiring a fingerprint-based check. Name and date of birth-based checks are rarely accepted by the authorities outside of Canada. We have signed an MOU with the local police and can also provide name and date of birth-based checks in as fast as 2 hours.
