Name of the Police Certificate: Certificate of Innocence (Chahadet Baraa in Arabic)

If you live in Libya

You must apply in person at your local police station. The following documents are required:

1. Two passport-sized photographs.
2. Passport.
3. Proof of residency/ID for non-citizens.
4. Applicable fees.

If you live outside of Libya

Certificates are not available for former residents. If you no longer live in Libya, you are not required to provide a Libyan police certificate.
