You need to apply in person at the office of the Prosecutor General (Procuraduría General de la Republica Dominicana) (see Special notes and considerations for full address and contact information).


If you live outside of Dominican Republic


You should contact the office of the Prosecutor General (Procuraduría General de la Republica Dominicana) (see Special notes and considerations for full address and contact information).

Information and documents you need:

  1. A photocopy of both sides of your Dominican national identification card (cédula) or resident card (non-nationals)
  2. Your valid passport
  3. One passport-size photograph
  4. Applicable fees (paid through direct deposit in any office of Banco del Reservas)
