If you live in Uruguay

Apply to the National Directorate of Scientific Police (Dirección Nacional de Policía Científica).

If you live outside of Uruguay

You would need someone in Uruguay to apply for you. You must go to your nearest Uruguay embassy or consulate to:

1. Pay the application fee.
2. Have your fingerprints taken.
3. Name someone to represent you in Uruguay.
4. Send your application and fingerprints to your representative so they can apply at the National Directorate of Scientific Police (Dirección Nacional de Policía Científica) for you.
