For the Constancia de Antecedentes Policiales

You can apply in person, online, or through a representative with a power of attorney at the Dirección Policial de Investigaciones (DPI)

When you apply for the Constancia de Antecedentes Policiales, you must submit the original and a copy of your national ID document or resident carné, the applicable fees, which can be paid at any bank, original power of attorney (only if applying through a representative)

When you apply for the Constancia de Antecedentes Penales, you must bring an original and a copy of your national Id document or resident carné, proof of payment of the applicable fees (payable at Banco Atlántida) and an original power of attorney (only if applying through a representative)
